{"id":972,"date":"2024-12-25T11:54:23","date_gmt":"2024-12-25T08:54:23","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/subel.selcuk.edu.tr\/en\/?page_id=972"},"modified":"2025-11-28T14:33:40","modified_gmt":"2025-11-28T11:33:40","slug":"how-is-the-experiment-conducted","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/subel.selcuk.edu.tr\/en\/index.php\/how-is-the-experiment-conducted\/","title":{"rendered":"How is the experiment conducted?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>How to run an experiment at SUBEL?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Read carefully the <a href=\"https:\/\/wzb.eu\/system\/files\/docs\/mc\/vam\/Lab_Rules_en_2019.pdf\">laboratory rules.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>Program and test the experiment beforehand.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>Send instructions to laboratory manager <strong>at least 1 week <\/strong>before the scheduled date and get approval of the lab managers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><a href=\"mailto:mtek@selcuk.edu.tr\">\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0mtek@selcuk.edu.tr<\/a> \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:eboztas@selcuk.edu.tr\">eboztas@selcuk.edu.tr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>No experiments can be run in the laboratory without complying with the laboratory rules<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>and the approval of the lab manager!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>How to reserve time slots in the lab:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>Send reservation form and request regarding session planning and invitation procedure to the research assistants.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2192 <a href=\"mailto:subel@selcuk.edu.tr\">subel@selcuk.edu.tr<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Testing the software in the laboratory <strong>before <\/strong>submitting the reservation form is strongly recommended!<\/li>\n<li>The <strong>reservation form must also be submitted at least 1 week prior <\/strong>to the scheduled date .<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u2192 <a href=\"https:\/\/wzb.eu\/system\/files\/docs\/mc\/vam\/Lab_Reservation_en_2019.docx\">reservation form<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"5\">\n<li>Agreement with research assistants \u2013 a few days before the experiment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>If applicable, create an experiment overview.<\/li>\n<li>If applicable, test experimental setup in the laboratory.<\/li>\n<li>If applicable, discuss invitation procedure.<\/li>\n<li>Tell research assistants which receipt should be used.<\/li>\n<li>Send instructions to research assistants for printing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"6\">\n<li>Payment<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul>\n<li>The research assistants typically handle the payment of participants.<\/li>\n<li>Check the remaining money!
